A stellar cast. Extremely moving. "The Help" is an important movie. Be sure and dig out your tissues before the movie starts. You'll be dabbing throughout. Most poignant is the fact that although based on a novel, the plot is all too true. I was struck by the fact that our audience was white (many blue hairs) alongside people of color. Bittersweet….Important, I say. See it. But, be prepared to have your emotional innards wrung like a dish rag. Oh, and I also HOWLED at parts. It's funny, too….
