Have you heard of Byron Katie? It was 2007, I think, that I first heard of Katie & "The Work." I've since met others who have worked with her, I've seen her on video, read about her and done a little work with the four questions myself. Read more about Byron Katie and The Work here. Dyann Woody, one of the ministers at the Music City Center for Spiritual Living (MCSSL), where I've begun attending–though I'm a member since 2006 of Center for Spiritual Living Nashville–recently returned from 28-days with Byron Katie.

So, yes, The Seminar Slut [that would be me, not Byron Katie. Not Dyann Woody] goes to church. Sometimes. Sorta. I mean, Centers for Spiritual Living are just that, Centers, not churches because we honor all paths. And, here, is what resonated with me from Dyann's brief recap Sunday:

The term: "self-bondage." And, that self-bondage can be "projected" onto others….

One of Dyann's favorite Katie-isms: "Don't believe your thoughts…they could hurt you…When I believe mine, I suffer. When I don't, I have peace." [A reference point here would be this blog post from "The Journey with Grace" in May.]

"Your feelings are your temple bell calling you back to you…." Wow…Wow. (Am I ever learning this lesson Right Now.)

"All I'm called to do is meet life with grace, an open heart, open mind and complete acceptance." [Beautiful….Beautiful….Resonance.]
