Though their subject focus and styles differ, two Nashville artists connect through their love of nature and their professional ties to medicine. Susan Goshgarian McGrew is a physician specializing in children with autism and Lisa Ernst has a family connection to the healing power of art and has received numerous commissions from the health care industry. Sunday, Feb. 28, Ernst and McGrew premiere "An Intimate View of Nature," at the Marnie Sheridan Gallery at Harpeth Hall School. The opening reception is from 3-5 p.m. The show, which begins two days earlier, Fri., February 26, is open on week days, 8:30 – 4:30, through Thurs., April 15.
