Anyone who knows anything about photography in Nashville knows that Brentwood Camera Club, soon-to- be renamed Brentwood Photography Group, is the "IT" place for photographers both big time and amateur. We are highly honored to be presenting about our book, From Heartache to Hope: Middle Tennesseans Living with Autism tonight, Tues., January 5, 2009, 6 p.m., for the kick-off to the group's monthly 2010 meetings! Location: Otter Creek Church, Brentwood.
Next to being asked to speak to this prestigious group of talented photographers about our book is the hard-work-rewards-reaped review via Nashville Scene–the snarliest of papers of "Our Fair City:"
From Nashville Scene:
“[…] The book will surely provide hope for families affected by autism, but
its ultimate triumph may be that unlike medical journal articles or scientific
texts, it provides an artful and intriguing look into the condition for people not directly affected, and should go a long way to
increasing awareness. […]”
The book is beautiful. Stunning portraits and writing. Brava!
Thank you, Nancy. Enjoyed learning about all your creative endeavors, both culinary and literary. I’m excited for you!
