Tell me: Why do we fear what we all, as humans–if we are lucky–will become? And that is: Old. Why do we disrespect what we will someday be? Why, when we are still young, do we embrace stereotypes about a certain age? Stereotypes that damn us and perpetuate predjudice?
What do you think?

Starting this week, "The Journey with Grace" is stepping away from our (me, myself and I's) computer and yours a bit. Instead of Monday-Wednesday-Friday posts, through the first week of January, I'll be posting twice weekly. It's the season for a breather, don'tcha think? Thank you for reading. I love your support via emails, Facebook and especially via comments on the blog.
True words on aging and wise words on “tis the season for a breather”
I actually like aging. I do not like looking tired. I do not mind looking old. So I pick out people that I like the look of “old” and wonder how I can get my wrinkles to go in that direction. (I’m thinking of the actress Colleen Dewhurst’s smile lighting up her wrinkled face as she aged, etc.) God bless you!!!
